Children Exposed to Adult Entertainment at Mirkwood Public House (NSFW)
Local drag performers prove they are not sorry for prior scandal involving children.
The following article is not safe for work. It contains vulgar language and disturbing, sexualized video content with explicit audio. I have censored none of it to drive home just how lewd and subversive drag performances in our community have become. There is no nudity shown. Regardless, this article is for adults only. Minors should not read further.
Monday, September 18th at Mirkwood Public House in Arlington, WA, drag performers organized a risqué all ages show. According to their official event flyer, “Serve & Swerve International” is an 18+ event with a $10 cover charge. Serve & Swerve’s headliners are suspiciously blacked out—that’s been the norm ever since the “House Touche” drag troupe was exposed for a racy Mother’s Day weekend pole dancing show for kids at a different venue in Arlington.
Mirkwood’s Monday night show has been exceptionally lewd. I wrote about their adult-themed August shows here. Members of the community had suspected that the drag performers would open their show up to impressionable children. Now they’ve been vindicated.
Earlier this week, Mirkwood’s social media manager Kristine Eden (also goes by Kiki Babkok) captured footage of the indecent show and posted it to the venue’s official public Facebook page. By Tuesday the shocking performance had gone viral. Prominent local journalists such as Johnathan Choe, Andy Ngo, and Katie Daviscourt shared it with their audience. Social media influencers beyond the Pacific Northwest are reposting and discussing the Mirkwood scandal. One such Twitter user by the name of Kory Yeshua said this:
“When they tell you that no-one is grooming children, when they tell you that no-one is scandalizing children, you’re gonna be able to show them videos like this, where adult males walk around in BDSM getting handed dollar bills, acting in a sexual manner in front of toddlers. This has nothing to do with inclusivity, this is about perverting the next generation.”
When you view the footage, you will understand what I mean when I say that the hubris of these degenerate actors is unfathomable. Not only did they commit the crime, they filmed it and posted it for the world to see. They must think they are untouchable. Make no mistake, this is a crime and they can be held accountable. Don’t let the wishy-washy types with zero intestinal fortitude lull you into embracing their apathetic, self-focused way of thinking. Exposing children to live erotic performances is not only wrong, it’s a direct violation of RCW 9.68A.150.
RCW 9.68A.150: Allowing minor on premises of live erotic performance (1) No person may knowingly allow a minor to be on the premises of a commercial establishment open to the public if there is a live performance containing matter which is erotic material.
Monday’s Serve & Swerve show wasn’t the first time this young girl has been exposed to adult entertainment at a bar in Arlington. Her mother, Kathryn Sharpe was a frequent patron of the (now closed) Remyx’d nightclub, which was the location of the Mother’s Day weekend drag scandal.
At the center of the Remyx’d scandal was drag performer “Columbia Blue,” real name River Clark. Only 19 years old himself, he put on a disturbing display for the children in attendance, making full use of the venue’s stripper pole. By Mother’s Day, the following day, the clip had gone viral for being so outrageously inappropriate. River’s pole dancing eventually gained 1.8 million views on the libsoftiktok twitter page alone.
It was such a big scandal that River’s step father Jerome, a fellow drag performer himself, who performs under the alias “Quintessa Touche,” issued an apology on KIRO newsradio. Speaking with radio hosts Jack Stine and Spike O’neill, Jerome said the following:
“I wish it didn’t happen. It happened,” Touche told KIRO Newsradio. “That performer is not a terrible person, they just didn’t understand the context that they were putting out at that particular time was not appropriate for that event. We brought in performers of all ages, and sometimes, I guess performers don’t grasp the gravity of their performances. No intent to be negligent, but we’re not a strip club, and it can be used as fuel against the community. That performer is a great performer.
Jerome, seems to lament the provocative choices of his stepson, who he suggests had a simple lapse in judgement. The apology didn’t fool anyone with good sense. Not only are they definitely not sorry, they are proud of their disgraceful behavior. I can say this with confidence because they engaged in lewd behavior in front of a minor again on Monday September 18th at Mirkwood Public House. Don’t take my word. You can hear the Master of Ceremonies brag about River AKA “Columbia Blue’s” indecent dance routines, and see him dance erotically in front of a child for yourself. Watch the footage below.
“Up next to the stage, is the sluttiest bimbo, who is now 19. The reason we made this show 18 plus was for them, the one, the only, the cancelled and controversial, again, Columbia Blue!”
Despite being “18+,” a young girl, no older than five, can be seen watching and hearing everything. Every twerk, gyration, and sexual simulation is happening right in front of her. She heard the crowd cheer River on for being the “sluttiest bimbo.” She watched River get rewarded with cash tips. Ask yourself: Is this the behavior of a repentant person? Or was Jerome’s apology simply a formality required to avoid accountability?

The claim that their show is 18+ is obviously a lie—another strategic formality that gives them a false sense of legitimacy more than a rule they actually follow. Keep in mind, these are the same people responsible for putting on Arlington’s recent Camp Pride event, which overtly targeted children with their advertisements.
Multiple performers are seen acknowledging and sometimes even interacting with the young girl. A transvestite known as “Jennavesia Touche” directs a portion of his lewd dance routine at the child. Keep in mind that he was “Head of Activities” for the Camp Pride event on July 22nd.
Another performer, “Diesel Blaze Haze,” can be seen taking a cash tip from Kathryn Sharpe’s daughter.
After the Remyx’d scandal broke, I spoke with Arlington Police Chief Jonathan Ventura. I brought up concerns about lewd behavior in front of minors at local establishments. He told me that the difficult aspect of these cases is “proving intent” to commit the infraction. Last Monday’s show at Mirkwood provided all the proof we need to demonstrate that Jerome and River, among others, intentionally and routinely expose children to live erotic performances and that they have every intention of continuing to do so.
They are not alone in this guilt. Just last week, one of the owners, Anton Beck, posted a link to the exposé I wrote on Mirkwood’s scandalous history of hosting all ages drag shows. It’s clear he and his wife Heather have full knowledge of the goings on in their establishment, yet refuse to put any real age restrictions on the venue’s weekly erotic performances.
You’ll notice Anton Beck posted this angry tirade on September 13th, only five days before his venue went viral for Monday’s scandalous all ages striptease. Sorry Anton, but we won’t be done exposing this vile theatre until you stop exposing your “odd culture” to children.

Tom, As always right on with your continuing expose of the Drag people of Mirkwood!
Tom howie, you are seriously pathetic. Go actually investigate real issues. Instead of your made up problems. I bet you have no problem taking your sons to hooters. Hypocritical loser. This article along with all your other ones is outdated and slandering. The only people who follow what you have to say are stuck in the past and will eventually die away. Hopefully soon. There are serious issues out there and all you can do is make shit up about people. What a sad life you live. I bet you are Christian.
